Jesus Return (The Second Coming)
Jesus reveales to us in Matthew 24 of His return. This Return will be the greatest event this world will have known. Revelation 1:7 tell us "Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye shall see Him,". Mark 13:26; "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Matthew 24: 30,31; " And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send forth His angels with a great trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other." Mathew 24:36; "But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son but the Father alone."
Jesus warns that before His return in Matthew 24:4,5; "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ', and will mislead many." Matthew 24:23-27; "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There He is, ' do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in adance. So, if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the wilderness,' do not go out, or 'Behold, He is in the inner rooms,'' do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east, and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be."
Who is the false Christ? Some believe it will be the devil. He has desired to receive the worship that is to be given only to God. (example: Matthew 4:8-10; 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15; "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for Satan disquise himself as an angel of light. Therefor it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds"
Those who study these Bible passages and follow the teachings will be able to resist the deceptions and delusions of the final days. Do not falter. Do not be taken in by the final deception of Satan, when he impersonates the Second Coming. Hold tight to the truths you have read in the Bible. Know that soon after the devil tries to deceive the world, we will have the real return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Mathew 24:13 "But he who endures to the end shall be saved."
